Syno Announcing Our New Kyoto Office | Syno

Syno International is proud to announce the opening of our second office in Japan with a new branch in the ancient capital of Kyoto. In connection to the opening of our new office, Syno was selected by the City of Kyoto and the Kyoto Institute of Advanced Technology in the “Startup Approaches to Problem Solving in the Era of Covid-19” pitch contest. In this pitch contest, we proposed a system called “Survey for Good—Welcome Back!” in which participants who answer questionnaires in the new Kyoto Tourism Association Covid-19 awareness program can donate their rewards towards a variety of charities related to Covid-19.

We are excited to be able to expand our reach to clients in Kyoto and western Japan with this new office.

Over the last two years, Syno International has grown considerably in the Swedish market and the recruitment of John is another step in our commitment to serve this market. Having worked together with John during his time in Netigate, I am eager to start working with him, learn from his experience and to see his focus on customer satisfaction in action!

The tourism industry is the most important industry in Kyoto and there are lots of issues in the industry both before and after COVID-19. Also, more and more companies from Kyoto are trying to reach the global market, but are facing marketing issues. Syno Japan will provide innovative solutions for both issues with industries and companies and we will continue to support innovative overseas startups coming to the Kyoto market.
