June 2020 Expansion Updates - Geneva and London | Syno

Syno International, a leading consumer Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) provider, today announces the opening of an office in Geneva, Switzerland and the recruitment of Andreas Schurek. At the same time, advertising-effectiveness professional Arno Hummerston joins the company to take over management of the UK office and to increase penetration of our data solutions in EMEA and the Americas.

Regarding our New Geneva Office

The DACH countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with over 100 million inhabitants, constitutes the largest economic region in Europe. It is home to great companies admired for their tech-led innovation and quality. The start of our expansion and focused efforts to build relations in this region will be led by market research veteran Andreas Schurek from his base on the shores of Lake Geneva. We look forward to having Andreas manage our relations with both existing and new clients in the area.

Market research faces many challenges, including the need for speed, flexibility, actionability, and data integration, all for a low cost. With our new presence here in Geneva, Syno International will now be able to provide to companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland affordable and actionable solutions that meet these challenges. It is a pleasure for me to work with Syno and to help global and local companies make better decisions for their brands, products, and markets.

It isn’t often you come across a business that is actually delivering on the hype around data. In the insights industry, many say they are a data business. Many have a lot of data. But nearly all of them struggle meeting their ambitions. Syno is taking a different approach and the solutions are already trusted by global players to create and add value to their business. This is most certainly a great opportunity to make an impact in the research world, but I hope we can go further by structure, usability and a human element to the data we curate and work with.
